The unit has always been in a non-smoking environment and it plays superbly. This classic and very desirable mid to mid-high end audiophile turntable is in great operating condition. no dustcover is included. The Belt is in great condition! The unit is cosmetically outstanding; the tonearm and the platter are in great unmarked condition. The plinth is in great condition with just a few minor scratches, but you must look close to see them. This table has been cleaned, re-lubed and/or re-greased where necessary, adjusted, and tested . The turntable has been fully detailed! But, regardless how good the turntable you still need a quality Phono Cartridge to extract and deliver the high quality sound form the vinyl , this is an area of neglect for most.
